In my 70 years, I have helped hundreds of thousands of people to reach a better life of health, happiness and success. I’ve seen many sad or depressed people rejuvenate to become joyful with peace of mind and a positive outlook towards the future. They did this by less internal work, less thinking over and over about their past. They started more external thinking about others, helping them with time and attention, caring and love, praying for others, visiting people in hospitals, helping seniors, volunteer work, new interests, new hobbies, exercise, etc. They saw that many others were much less fortunate and experienced the joy of helping others.
Most of us, from time to time, need a reminder to give thanks for all the good we have in our own life, much of which includes clean water, food, a bed to sleep on, a place to call home, good medical care, education, a feeling of safety and freedom that millions of people do not have. There is a big difference between what we want and what we need. Warren Buffet once said: “We are born with a lucky ticket.” During Sunday Mass in the Vatican, the Pope urged people to resist the lure of excess consumerism, saying that it was a virus. A good time for gratitude thinking is before sleep. As you fall asleep, your positive thoughts will drift into your subconscious mind to guide you a positive direction.
It is said that you cannot give it if you do not have it. So, be good to yourself first, forgive yourself, love yourself and live in the moment. Learn from the past and live in the present. Get your spirit, your energy, your power and your life back. When you live in the present, you are truly alive.
When you are feeling healthy, happy and joyful, then you have much to share and you can be your best help for others. Often, the greatest feeling of personal happiness comes with helping others to a better life. So, be good to yourself this holiday season and all your days. Respect your magical mind, body and spirit. You know what is healthy and what is not healthy. Your own hand can control unhealthy or healthy choices placed into your mouth and body. Your brain and your thoughts control your hands.
If you need help with mental or self-discipline, hypnosis is a huge help because it helps you to focus and concentrate what you want to happen to make it happen. Help in mind mastery and self-control is easily available to you with a hypnotist or self-hypnosis. There is much information to help you to learn these skills on my website.
Awareness of Being Hypnotized? Here is a very important special tip. When you are using hypnosis, do not concern yourself with knowing at what point your conscious mind state changes to a subconscious hypnotic state. With most hypnosis, being hypnotized is a gradual process. In fact, many people first enter a light state of hypnosis which is then deepened with such imaginary thoughts as with every step down the stairs, or movement down on the escalator, or with every floor the elevator descends, “I go deeper and deeper into hypnosis”. This may be done when you are hypnotized by a hypnotist, a hypnosis recording, or with self-hypnosis. Once you are in that special focused mental state, you can learn new positive thoughts, feelings and behaviors and you can establish them rapidly. This can be new eating habits, being turned off by that which you wish to eliminate. Or, being turned on by that which you may want to add to your life such as a plant-based meal plan, more exercise, positive success thinking, confidence, new skills or talents, creativity, etc.
If you were to try hard to fall asleep in your bed, that would not work. The harder you try, the more awake you become. When you stop trying to sleep, you sleep. Hypnosis is not an ordinary sleep, but the point is firstly never try hard to be hypnotized. Just enjoy the gradual change of consciousness to a more relaxed body, peace of mind and a concentrated mind that is goal focused and confident about success. Secondly, do not expect to KNOW when you are hypnotized. Just follow the instructions of the process, enjoy the state and the benefits. It really is a simple process, so simple a small child can often do it easier than an adult. Children treat it as a game of imaginary fun.
If you are in a place this holiday season without relatives or friends, go on the internet and look up https://www.meetup.com/. Most cities have groups you can join with people who have similar interests, with people who would love to meet you. Some have Christmas dinners. Some are age related. You can even start your own meetup group. Sports, shy people, anxious people, photography, dinner, people who love to dance, excursions, social clubs, even hypnosis meet-up groups! Whether you like to be alone most of the time and have no trouble entertaining yourself, or you love being around people, we are all different. The important key is to love yourself and share it with others. We are all unique and that makes the world an interesting place.
Below is a link to help with the greatest challenge that most people have. It’s the reason that most people visit a doctor. In fact, it is responsible in whole or in part for 70-90% of physician visits. It can destroy lives relationships, health and success. That is stress. Click below for a copy of my manuscript with over 35 ways to handle stress. In the evening, I fall asleep with self-hypnosis and positive self-suggestion. Each day, I start off with about one hour of stretching, light weights, isometrics, an exercise bike, my back rollers and then a plant-based meal plan. Enjoy every day in your own healthy way and laugh a lot!
