Unload your burdens and baggage with hypnosis and self-hypnosis:
The subconscious mind can powerfully change our life for the better with our imagination and positive mental pictures. Here is an example of a good meditation before sleep each night, and first thing in the morning before getting out of bed. This was created for a woman with a painful past whose pleasure was travelling on cruise ships:
“I can see the pain and the weight of your past experiences have been with you for years. It’s good to acknowledge that. But remember, you are not defined by your past. You have the power to shape your future.
“Let’s visualize something together. Imagine a ship, much like the cruise ships you travel on. This ship represents your life’s journey. The baggage from your past, the failed marriages, and the abuse you endured are like heavy anchors. They’ve been holding your ship back; preventing you from moving forward.
“Now, picture yourself on the deck of your ship. It’s a bright, beautiful day. You can choose to untie those anchors, one by one, and let them sink into the depths of the sea. Feel that weight lifting away as you feel lighter and lighter. As you release each anchor, you’re freeing yourself from the burdens of the past. As you cruise away in your ship, notice those anchors, those weights becoming smaller and smaller, blurry in the distance as you drift away, finally fading away completely, and becoming unimportant to you. Yet you have learned much from that past to transport you to your brighter present day and all future days.
“You are not your failed marriages. You are not defined by the actions of others. Tear the unwanted labels off your forehead that you had given to yourself. Time to put new labels on your forehead that now define the real you. You are a resourceful woman, a powerful woman, a strong woman. A woman who has the strength to heal more each day to find your personal fulfilment and happiness.
“As you continue your cruising journey, you focus on the present moment. You cherish your experiences on these cruise ships; the beauty of the world you’re exploring. You embrace the opportunities to create new, positive, happy memories each day.
“Healing may take time, and it’s okay to seek support when you need it. But always know that you also have the capacity to find peace within yourself. You are not alone on this journey. I’m here to support you, but more importantly, you are the captain of your ship. You can navigate towards a brighter future. You have accomplished much since you were that young child growing older, you have learned much, and after the rain always comes the sunshine. With the valleys, the mountains rise up.”
… With self-hypnosis, you can create similar experiences. For example, imaging leaving baggage behind while you travel by car, train, plane, or even a rocket ship into space. This can be reinforced by self-hypnosis with a recording, and eventually without a recording as pure self-hypnosis.
