How to be Successful

Jimi Hendrix is often said to be the greatest guitarist of all time.  He started playing the guitar at a young age.  Everywhere he went, he carried his guitar with him.  If he went on a date, he carried his guitar.  If he went to the bathroom, he took his guitar.  He wanted to constantly improve.  Playing the guitar to the best of his ability was the most important aspect of his life.  Anywhere and anytime that he had an opportunity to play his guitar, he would do so.  Here is some advice from a former US President:

“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”  Calvin Coolidge 30th President of the United States 1923 to 1929.
