Better Sleep with Hypnosis

According to a study published in the journal Sleep, a better night’s sleep may be achieved after listening to a hypnosis recording.  With a good sleep, thinking ability increases, there is a boosting of the immune system, and healing of the body.  You can use my Fall Asleep Easily (CD#10) hypnosis recording or here is a technique I developed without it:

First of all, never try to go to sleep, just let it happen. Assume a comfortable sleeping position in your bed.  Then take 3 to 5 long, slow, deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth.  Now, do this exercise in a slow, relaxed manner, with pauses.

Start with your feet, and say to yourself something like this, mentally, “Toes, you have helped me all these years to walk to so many places.  You must be tired.  Allow yourself to fall asleep and awaken refreshed in the morning.  You deserve this rest.”  Pause for a moment to imagine and let your toes relax.  You can have some fun with this and imagine all your toes are relaxing, even snoring and sound asleep.

Then move on to your feet and do the same thing, then on to your ankles, your calves, your knees, your hips and thighs, etc.  Constantly think thoughts of thanks and gratitude for each part of your body, and how they have served you well.  When I do this slowly, I am usually asleep before I finish with my legs.  The key is to do this all in a very slow unhurried
manner.

Remember to imagine yourself awakening at the time you wish to awaken, well rested, full of energy, with a healthy body and a healthy mind.  This is a post hypnotic instruction for your subconscious mind.  What you think about before sleep sinks down deep into your subconscious mind, ready to influence your conscious life.

Enjoy this, benefit from this, and let me know how much it helped you!
