Romane’s Virtual Gastric Band Weight Loss Hypnosis

One of our newsletter subscribers recently asked: “How Can I Have Greater Success with Weight Loss? I lose weight and then sabotage myself.”

This is the time of year that many people want to start shedding pounds. Repetition and reinforcement with my hypnosis recordings (downloads or CD’s) is VERY important. If you have clear, strong reasons to reduce weight, that will make it even easier to be successful.

A medical study involving 166 hospitals in the United Kingdom recently concluded that obese people hospitalized with coronavirus are 37% more likely to die than other patients. Excess weight is one of the deadliest risk factors, even without COVID-19.

Provided there are no major health problems interfering with weight reduction, a combination of the right lower calorie nutritious foods in small reasonable portions, plus exercise on a consistent basis usually results in a slimmer figure.

Visiting restaurants as a habit is a big negative. Having less restaurant meals is a positive change due to our isolation.  People frequently say: “I have to eat it because it tastes so good … I paid to enjoy the whole buffet, so I might as well eat more”. Restaurant meals usually have excessive high calorie oil, fat, grease, salt and sugar. Sugar products such as soft drinks, chocolate, candies, pastries should be avoided or rarely taken. Keep them out of your home. Out of sight, out of mind. Lots of water daily is important. Often hunger is just thirst. Drink water first. Those are some major areas which are usually important to work on. Life’s stress must also be managed because many people overeat when stressed. I eat a plant-based meal plan and exercise every day because it makes me look healthy and feel more energetic. In addition, it keeps weight off my knees.

Here are a few more tips for additional help using my hypnosis recordings for weight control:

When you play your weight management hypnosis recordings, search your mind during hypnosis. Ask yourself “what is holding me back?” and “what do I need to change?” before playing a hypnosis recording. Keep those questions in mind later, while in hypnosis. As your mind is focused on my voice while you are hypnotized, let whatever rises up from your subconscious give you the answer or clue for the solution. Lovingly ask your subconscious to tell you what you need to do for permanent success. Respect and patience for your subconscious is essential. Think of your subconscious as really another “brilliant” person inside you. It has all the file cabinets of information and memories of everything you have experienced since birth and many say even before you were born.

Also, sometime sit down and search your mind and heart and make a written list of powerful engines (reasons, motivations) to keep you on track. Write those reasons on two cards. Tape one to your mirror and carry the other card with you. Read the card before sleep; on awakening; while waiting in a line; while brushing teeth; shaving or applying make up, to lock them into your mind and life.

Hold the prize (health, body image, benefits) vision clearly in mind, always imagining your goal as already accomplished. This is best done before sleep. The instructions drift into your subconscious mind to change mindset to eliminate mental blocks that limit personal success. Effectiveness is amplified greatly when using hypnosis.
