Anxiety, do you have it?
Are you frequently: fearful, nervous, a worrier, overwhelmed, stressed, irritable, argumentative?
Do you often experience: a restless mind, trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, a constant fear of things going wrong, social withdrawal from people and events, physical symptoms such as a pounding chest and shortness of breath, procrastination, difficulty starting and finishing tasks, or a need to control all situations, to be perfectionistic? My recordings that help you to achieve a calm, relaxed and powerful mind are: Power Over Panic and Anxiety & also The Stress Control Seminar (CD’s or downloads)
Hypnosis in the Boxing Ring:
During an interview with Snoop Dogg, Mike Tyson explains how hypnosis helped him in boxing: In 1985 and 1986, Tyson had an undefeated record in the boxing ring. Mike reveals that he developed a powerful and focused mindset with hypnosis training. “You have to be able to adapt to it…it’s all about the sub-conscious.” Mike shared how he felt when he was in the ring. “I’m very relaxed, very controlled…” Snoop also mentioned how in those famed fights, Mike was very relaxed until after the last bell rang ending the match.“ Mike’s mantra or affirmation with his hypnotherapy was: “Be controlled—an intelligent, savage animal.”
MMA analyst and UFC commentator Joe Rogan also claims that “Iron Mike” himself told him during an appearance on “Joe Rogan Experience” in 2019 that D’Amato used to hypnotize Tyson. The legendary boxer was quoted saying D’Amato would make him “ totally focus on nothingness and just being this savage, intelligent animal.” “He hypnotized him into being a machine. You don’t exist, it’s just the task,” Rogan said.
Hypnosis for the Gym:
Do you go to the gym to build strength, fitness and health, self-confidence, self-esteem, or to burn calories to lose weight? The stumbling block for many is to be motivated and consistent in working out. A gym owner in Saskatchewan once told me that he sells a lot of memberships in January, but few are still coming by the end of February. You have to be persistent to reach goals. Hypnosis is highly successful in increasing self-discipline and mental mastery.
The more you exercise and the more you lift a weight, the easier it will become to lift heavier weights going forward. Sometimes people miss sessions or reach a ceiling of improvement. Hypnosis can easily handle increasing motivation to exercise, removal of mental blocks and help people to perform at their best by changing the mindset with methods such as visualization. This is used in all sports and even by Olympic Champions. Research experiments have clearly shown that strength can be increased with hypnosis.
Hold the prize (health, body image, benefits) vision clearly in mind, always imagining your goal as already accomplished. This is best done before sleep. The instructions drift into your subconscious mind to change your mindset and to eliminate mental blocks that limit personal success. This technique is amplified when using hypnosis to influence your subconscious mind for success. My double recording set Enjoy Exercise for Health and Weight Loss (CD’s or downloads) was created to keep people motivated, consistent and persistent.
Another question from a newsletter subscriber: “Can you offer some help to overcome constantly thinking about negative past experiences?”
It should prove helpful to repeat these meditations until they are locked into your mind, heart and gut:
“The past is long past being past, best left in the old dusty worn out past.”
“I look less and less in the rear view mirror. I keep looking in the front window of the present and future. That’s where I spend the rest of my life. It’s the most productive place to be.”
“That negative thought does not serve me. I focus upon positive thoughts that help and advance my goals?”
“I live in the present moment. That makes me truly alive. I have my energy back. I have my power back. I have my life back. I have my spirit back.”
“My name is ___________, where am I going NOW? … “
“I spend time with and associate with people who believe in what I do.”
Saturate your conscious mind with those meditations: Write them on a piece of paper and read them on awakening; while waiting in a line, while brushing your teeth, putting on make up, etc.
Saturate your subconscious mind. Read them before sleep and play a hypnosis recording such as You Are What You Think; Stop Negative Thoughts; Self-Hypnosis Seminar; Mind Power Seminar. (CD’s or download)
When your conscious and subconscious mind are “on the same page”, in harmony, you have a powerful, focused, success mindset. You want your subconscious mind to work with and for you, not against you.
And More Meditations…
“I am a miracle. I believe in myself. I believe in my talents. I believe in my abilities. I love myself. I treat myself well. I treat myself with respect. I am loved. I am a good person. Mistakes are ok. Mistakes are simply learning experiences. I am grateful for all I have achieved. I am grateful for all I have. Life is truly a magical gift with so much to experience, to hear, to see, to smell, to taste, to feel and to do.”
“Sometimes it is good to slow down life … to see everything brand new again with the curiosity and interest of a very young child who has just come into a new world for unlimited learnings, sensations and experiences.”
Remember to often look at your eyes (I look at the pupils) in your mirror and repeat: “I love myself”…and frequently put your arms around yourself and give yourself a tight, warm hug while repeating several times “I love myself”.
When someone says to you. “How are you?” Say “Fantastic”. Have a fantastic life!
