Top resolutions by people include a desire to lose weight, stop smoking, exercise more, improve health and looks, improve relationships, and to make or save more money.  Here are 10 helpful instructions to reach any goal:

  1. Create a written plan with a specific, measureable, realistic goal. If more exercise is the goal, be gradual in increasing intensity and duration of exercise. Being over ambitious leads to disappointment, or even injury. Make the goal simple, such as resolving to lose 10 pounds (just ‘lose weight’ is too vague); to eliminate soft drinks, candy and chocolate; to walk Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Have your deodorant only available at the gym? To control spending, cut up credit cards and have monthly automated savings? Improve a relationship by setting aside specific times to be with a loved one?
  2. Be accountable by making a verbal commitment to a few people.
  3. Enlist support from a family member, friend, mentor, professional, a class, a good book or self-help recording.
  4. Be positive, and think “I know I can do this.” Have an intense focused mind set on what you should do, not what you should not do. For example, instead of thinking of not smoking, focus on deep breathing, or drinking more water.
  5. Consider setbacks as learning experiences and do better next time.
  6. Talk to people who have done what you want to do and model them.
  7. Realize you have a choice, and going in the right direction reinforces your will power.
  8. Reward yourself for small steps to success with perhaps a movie, a small gift, a new outfit, a visit to a friend, etc.
  9. Several times a day, read a card with motivational reasons and benefits to stick to your plan: Have one on your mirror, and carry one in your wallet to read when waiting somewhere. Reading this just before you fall asleep strongly influences your subconscious mind.
  10. Keep a Daily Progress Journal to evaluate and improve your plan for success. People wanting to lose weight often say “I blew my program” when they did well on 20 meals out of 21 during the week. That’s over 95% success!

Many success coaches instruct others to start with easier goals to feel a sense of accomplishment. This gives confidence to achieve bigger goals. Sometimes it is best to focus all your mental energy on one major goal at a time, focusing on small steps. One brick at a time creates a building.  Patience and calm persistence leads to success. Plan how you will deal with any obstacles that may arise.

The key to my motivating methods is the use of hypnosis with people to intensely focus their mental powers on what they want; to boost their belief in themselves; to increase their self-love so they are totally dedicated to success; to instill positive self-talk, and to program mental success images into their subconscious mind so they imagine and feel that they have already succeeded.

STRESS CONTROL IS THE KEY

It is a lot easier to say “no” when you are relaxed. To become more conscious and aware of the powerful effects of your self-relaxation sessions, just do a before and after relaxation rating test. Zero can be total relaxation and ten can be extreme tension. Rate yourself before and after your hypnosis session, and notice the benefits. Learn to be relaxed alone, or with others.

I can help you to control your own stress with my Stress Control four CD set.  A related stress management CD is the Overcome Panic and Anxiety CD.  You can order any of my recordings, books and health items by calling 1-800-665-4656, or you can save the shipping charges by ordering online here.

Listen to Romane’s interview on The Hawk Radio Station in Port Hawkesbury, NS.  Learn about hypnosis and how to stop smoking.  Be hypnotized with the hands locking experience:

It was not until the 19th century that Dr. Sigmund Freud was able to prove the existence of a “second mind”. This “second mind”, the subconscious, holds absolute control over our life. The subconscious controls our habits, our likes, our dislikes, thoughts, feelings, behaviour, health, our success, and our failure. You may temporarily forget a name, a word, a number, or some fact, but then it comes back to you. This proves the existence of a second mind. The subconscious does not distinguish between real and imaginary experiences. Sometimes real life seems like a dream and when you awaken from a dream, the dream may seem so real, that if feels like it really happened.

When your subconscious programming is positive, you are more successful, happier and healthier. For your best life, you want to fill your mind with positive, peaceful, joyful and loving thoughts. The ideal time to program your mind with hypnosis recordings or self-hypnosis is before sleep. The positive instructions turn over and echo in your subconscious while you sleep. The instructions are easily locked into your subconscious mind, as the subconscious does not evaluate them. The subconscious simply accepts without evaluation. Another good time to play hypnosis recordings is when you first wake up, as your mind is generally more relaxed, uncritical and able to absorb the positive instructions to guide you throughout the day.

For hypnosis to be the most successful, you should want the change to take place. You can set aside a few moments, and write down all the benefits that will happen when the change that you desire has taken place. The subconscious is powerfully influenced by what we clearly visualize. Your visualization skills, your ability to see pictures in your mind becomes stronger with practice. When you visualize, really be there, feeling totally successful. You can increase the emotional voltage of the hypnotic instructions by imagining with all your senses what you see, hear, smell, taste and feel. The goal is to visualize, as real as possible, an image of your self looking, acting and feeling the exact way you wish to be, as if the change has already taken place.

It is important to understand that you will not be in an ordinary sleep. You will not be unconscious.  Instead, you are super aware. Your attention is powerfully focused upon Romane’s voice. Do not try hard to be hypnotized. Instead treat the experience as play. Do not care if you are hypnotized, for you probably won’t know anyway, unless you have been hypnotized several times.

Do not waste your mental energy and concentration thinking over and over: “Is it working. I hope it is working. When will it work? This is my last resort. It better work.” Such fear of failure divides concentration. You attract what you think about. The best attitude is “who cares if I am hypnotized. I am just going to follow the instructions and enjoy the experience. This will work great!”  Simply assume you are hypnotized.

Hypnosis is a normal, natural state similar to being totally focused on a good book, or a good movie in a theatre. Imagine that there is an empty box in the top of your head, and Romane is going to fill that box with over 100 very positive hypnotic instructions to create the belief in your mind that you are already a non smoker, relaxed without tobacco.

When your eyes are closed, your attention is more focused upon Romane’s voice. Some people like to put something over their eyes, such as a blindfold or eye shades. If using hypnotic recordings, headphones will again further focus your attention. Also, chewing gum is a distraction. Having a comfortable bed, chair or couch helps. Loosen tight clothing.

As you hear Romane’s voice, imagine that your mind is a vacuum cleaner sucking up every hypnotic instruction; a tunnel between your mind and Romane’s words filling up the box in the top of your head.

You can increase the power of the hypnotic instructions by turning off your analyzing, turning off your critical thinking mind, and accepting everything that is being told to you while your attention is focused upon his voice. Forget about other people in the audience. Think of the session as between you and Romane alone.

You can further increase the emotional voltage of the hypnotic instructions by imagining what Romane is saying in detail. Imagine what you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel on your skin, and in your mind. Imagine you are an actor or actress in Hollywood. For example, if you are imagining yourself in situations as a non smoker, you can add color, make it vivid, bright, sharp, add details, bring it in close to you, give it movement, see it from the right, left, front, back, make it 3D. Add imaginary sounds such as compliments of others, make them clear, constant and loud such as cheering. Make it stereo.

In short, the key is to focus your attention in an uncritical, open, accepting way. Imagine what is being said to you as if it is already true, for we become what we think the most about. Many people say over and over to themselves: “I can’t quit smoking”. In this case, the person needs to be DEHYPNOTIZED, or UNHYPNOTIZED. They have already hypnotized themselves by repetition of the self-suggestion.

If your life is a mess, your mind is mess. You need to change your mind, your mouth, your thoughts and your words.

You can also mentally repeat hypnotic instructions as Romane says them to you, while imagining as if they are true already.

Repetition of hypnotic instructions makes them stronger. If using hypnosis recordings, you should have one session, once a day, until you are absolutely confident you will never smoke again. With some people hypnosis has fast results, and with others (especially those who have excessive life stress), permanent success may require more repetitions of the hypnotic instructions. Persistence is the key to all success.

It has been reported by medical researchers that your lifestyle choices make a big difference on your life expectancy.  Eating right, exercising and quitting smoking is good for your heart and your lungs, and it may also help prevent dementia.

Researchers say that those who keep their blood pressure and cholesterol under control will likely do better, possibly because they avoid dementia caused by mini-strokes and other vascular damage.

Some of the things you can do to prevent dementia are: keep your mind active by reading, doing puzzles, and brain twisters; exercise; keep socially active; eat a healthy diet; and stop smoking.  There is no guarantee, but the choices you make could make a difference in the quality of your life in later years.  Once you start to lose your brain functions it is hard to get it back, so now is a good time to start a healthier lifestyle. One needs to take personal responsibility to make the right choices for a healthier life.

An e-cigarette is a battery-powered devise which is a substitute for tobacco smoking.  It usually uses a heating element that vaporizes a liquid solution.  Some solutions contain a mixture of nicotine and flavour, while others release a flavored vapor without nicotine.  If they release nicotine, they carry a risk of developing a nicotine addiction.

Apparently, some of these devices have shown to contain cancer causing agents, similar to nicotine gum and inhalers, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  I have heard that some of the most risky e-cigarettes are coming from China.

Lowell Dale, M.D. PhD., associate professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine says that when the FDA analyzed samples of two popular brands of these e-cigarettes, they found variable amounts of nicotine and traces of toxic chemicals, including carcinogens. This prompted the FDA to issue a warning about potential health risks.

A study from France’s National Consumers Institute concluded that e-cigarettes are “potentially carcinogenic” because some brands contain formaldehyde (embalms dead bodies) that approaches those of conventional cigarettes.  Doctor Matthew Stanbrook says; “we should not assume they are safe, just because they appear to be less harmful than conventional cigarettes”.

Health Canada continues to advise Canadians not to use e-cigarettes as they might pose a health risk.

E-cigarettes duplicate the ritual and process of holding a cigarette.  You blow out a vapor that looks like tobacco smoke.  The problem with this is that you are still hooked on a device that is unnecessary to life, but you keep using it with all the situations and emotions that caused you to smoke regular cigarettes in the past.  The best solution is to eliminate this gimmick which could be compared to an infant pacifier.

With my program, where I have helped more Canadians to stop smoking than anyone else in the world, you are at last free of the habit, and proud to be free. I teach all the best methods of stopping smoking, with and without hypnosis.  The methods are so simple a child could follow the instructions.  My technique is based upon the multiple method approach.  A report by the top physician in the United States, the US Surgeon General, said that the multiple method approach is the best approach for anyone wanting to stop smoking.  This conclusion is based on a study of over 700 stop smoking programs.

My approach helps tremendously to deal with stress management, as stress is the #1 reason people go back to smoking.  The #2 reason is alcohol.  The #3 reason is cockiness, “I’ll have just one. One won’t hurt!”  My program deals with all of these.  There is no need to wait for my visit to your city.  You could seriously further compromise your health and spend thousands of dollars on tobacco before I arrive in your city.  The hypnosis recordings work just as well as the live seminar.

The Circle of Stress & Tension
circle of tention

 Common Tension Symptoms and Reactions

  • Headaches
  • Tight Feelings
  • Tics
  • Shaking, Trembling
  • Sweating
  • Flushes
  • Palpitation
  • Breathlessness
  • Insomnia
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Overeating
  • Excessive Smoking
  • Blushing
  • Menstrual, Bladder, Bowel, & Sexual Disorders.
  • Etc.

Hypnosis is a tremendous tool to break the circle of stress and tension.  70% to 90%  of problems appearing in a doctor’s office are either caused by stress or made worse by stress.  Stress activates toxic chemicals in the body.  Stress is the number one reason why people go back to smoking.  Animals subjected to extreme stress have a high probability of developing cancer. People often develop cancer 6-18 months after serious multiple stresses.

Hypnosis is such a powerful technique that Dr. Jack Gibson, a surgeon in Ireland, performed over 4000 major and minor surgeries with hypnosis alone, no anesthetic.  I have even heard of two heart operations performed with hypnosis alone.  Whatever you do, you will do it better with hypnosis.
