With Hypntist M. Vance Romane

DVDs

I attended a Romane lose weight seminar with a girlfriend on Saturday, April 8, 2017. After listening to the Stop Sugar Addiction and the Lose Weight collection of CD’s, I am proud to say that I’ve lost 20lbs already!

Yes, I am drinking my 8 – 10 glasses of water a day.  Yes, I’m getting more active and got a Fitbit to track my 10,000 steps per day, BUT what has kept me motivated has been the hypnosis CD’s.

No question, that has been the difference between previous weight loss attempts and this one.  I KNOW I will be successful if I continue to listen to these CD’s every day.  I have only missed one day because my husband was rushed into surgery, but other than that, I look forward to listening to them each evening.

Romane will recommend that you do not listen to them before bed, but that is exactly when I listen.  I go to bed earlier than usual (mostly because I like to snack in the evening right before bed) and I put my headphones on.  I sometimes wake up to “And 5….YOU’RE WIDE AWAKE….WIDE AWAKE”.  It’s pretty funny because when I do manage to stay awake through the whole thing, I learn new things all the time, BUT the message does get through to the subconscious when you’re sleeping too.

This has by far, been the EASIEST weight loss I’ve ever experienced and the MOST weight I’ve lost, in the SHORTEST amount of time.  Add in the fact that I’m over 50 which is excruciatingly hard to lose weight as our metabolism is all wacky.

Romane tells you to eat slow….it helps!  He tells you to eat when you’re hungry and put the fork down when you’re full…..that’s HUGE. It’s amazing how much we eat AFTER our tummies are satisfied. I put a 1/3 of protein (meat) on my plate for dinner, generous amount of veggies and a smaller portion of carbs (which we’ve now been substituting with various vegetables…ex instead of mashed potatoes, we’ll make mashed cauliflower or instead of spaghetti, we’ll make spaghetti squash).  I almost always leave something on my plate because guess what???? My tummy is satisfied before I finish the “already reduced” portions on my plate.  I do snack more but I will have a sliced apple with yogurt and cinnamon instead of a bag of chips or a cinnamon bun.

I tell you…this hypnosis works!  Never in my wildest dreams would I think that I would be happy and satisfied to eat less, never feeling starved or deprived.  I choose better and get creative so that my taste buds are satisfied.

The scale doesn’t lie folks!  Down 20 lbs. in 6 weeks.  What???  My goal is to be down 40 by the end of August and I’ll do it.  The good news is that SO CAN YOU!

Get the CD’s of whatever you are struggling with (weight loss, smoking, etc.) and just try it.  I don’t know Romane or his family, so this is not plug for him personally.  I cannot express enough how these CD’s help.  You have to do the work, but the work is so much easier when your subconscious is on board.

Oh and by the way, my girlfriend is also doing GREAT!!  She’s melting away too.  Coincidence???  I think not.

If you have a chance to attend a seminar, sign up!  If you’re going to lose weight, bring a pillow and eye mask with you.  It’s easier to do laying down than sitting in a seminar chair.

Good luck!  I know this will change your world!!

Comments from Romane:

Thank you Shawna for your email and CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SUCCESS! Listening to hypnosis recordings before sleep is actually the best time as the hypnotic instructions fall into the subconscious mind as you fall asleep. You may even dream about them. However, if you are too tired at bedtime to hear most of the recording before you fall asleep, another time to listen is recommended. It is true that we hear what is around us when we are sleeping. Even under anesthetic in surgery, we hear what is going on around us, but we forget consciously when we come out of the surgery. One client told me that after he was anesthetized for surgery, his surgeon told him that he would no longer want cigarettes. Following the surgery, he quit smoking but could not understand why, until his doctor told him what had happened.

We have two minds, something like an iceberg, a small part is above the water (conscious mind), but a larger part is below the water (subconscious mind). As we transition from ordinary sleep to wakefulness, from the subconscious state of mind, we often forget our many dreams that we had throughout the sleep. This is more evidence of the existence of two minds.

Some people will definitely benefit from the recordings being played while they are actually asleep, but the majority are best off to play them when they feel totally relaxed in body and focused with their mind upon the hypnotic instructions. Hypnosis is very unique for every person. Your sensations or experience will also be a little different each time that you enjoy your hypnosis. Hypnosis is not an ordinary sleep. For hypnosis, there needs to be a hypnotist, and for most people, hypnotic recordings are as effective as attending my live seminars.

When you use hypnosis recordings, there is no need to wonder about the experience, if you are doing it right or wrong. Simply disregard everything else and focus upon the voice of the hypnotic instructions. No need to do anything or to “try hard”. Just simply follow the hypnotic instructions and enjoy this daydream experience for a more peaceful mind and total self-control and personal power in all areas of your life.

Remember hypnosis is not an ordinary sleep. You are super alert and aware of sounds around you, but your attention is highly focused upon the voice of the hypnotist. You will find many more client testimonials, free tips, blogs, and more at www.vanceromane.com and www.vanceromane.ca

According to WebMD.com, Swiss researchers did a study on using hypnosis to help women who suffer from insomnia.  The report concluded, “After listening to a sleep-promoting audio tape containing hypnotic suggestion, women who are suggestible to hypnosis spent two-thirds less time awake, and about 80 percent more time in deep sleep compared to those who slept without the hypnotic suggestion.”

Symptoms of insomnia may include difficulty falling asleep, waking up in the middle of the night and having trouble going back to sleep, waking up too early and feeling tired when you wake up. However, if you have long term insomnia, you should consult with your doctor to rule out any other causes (such as medication) that may be the cause of your insomnia.

Getting a good night’s sleep is very important for our health.  Students get better grades with good sleep.  Lack of sleep can lead to accidents.  Lack of sleep also makes you look and behave as if you were older.  You will lose weight easier with good sleep habits.

If you have trouble sleeping, make it a rule to avoid business after 6 or 7 pm.  You need to have a quiet down time.  Clear your mind before you fall asleep.  Laugh more.  Our bodies produce healthy chemicals when we laugh, which leads to healthy changes in the body, including more oxygen to the brain, a stronger immune system, endorphins, better sleep, lower blood pressure, less stress hormones, reduced need for medication, being less likely to have a heart attack, heart disease or illnesses, and a happy glow on your face with shining eyes.

Every night before you fall asleep, think about three good things that happened to you that day, and three things for which you are grateful.

Using hypnosis can make it possible for insomnia sufferers to have a normal sleep.  Hypnosis relaxes the body, and that alone can help you to fall asleep.  Hypnosis can be used to eliminate headaches, stress, and anxiety, all of which can prevent you from having a good night’s sleep.

When using a hypnosis recording to fall asleep you may fall asleep before the recording ends, and just drift off into a normal sleep and awaken alert, relaxed, and refreshed. After listening to the recording several times you should fall asleep on your own by simply applying the exercises on the recording, but without the recording.

Using a hypnosis CD is ideal because you can listen to the CD wherever and whenever you need it.  I offer a single CD or MP3 download to help people fall asleep easily and banish worry. For more information, visit http://www.vanceromane.com/products.html.

Hypnotic Pain Control, and the Power of Affirmations versus Mental Imagery

Our mouth is one of the most sensitive parts of the body, as there is a high concentration of nerve endings in the mouth.

Extracting a molar tooth from a person’s mouth without the use of local or general anesthesia is very painful for the average person. Removal of a person’s wisdom teeth is considered to be surgical, and sometimes requires general anesthesia (using sedatives to render the patient unconscious) as well as local anesthesia (numbing in the area of the tooth removal).

In 2013, the Journal of Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery published a study in which 24 volunteers had two wisdom teeth removed. All of the patients had one tooth removed with the help of hypnosis alone, and the second tooth was removed using standard local anesthesia, without hypnosis.

Here are the reported results: “Of the subjects who underwent hypnosis, only two subjects (8.3 percent) reported pain after induction of hypnosis. In the local anesthetic group, 8 subjects (33.3 percent) reported pain. The results of the study clearly showed that patients in the hypnosis group had less pain during the first few hours post-operatively.”

In 1999, Acta Chirurgica Belgica, the official journal of the Royal Belgian Society for Surgery, published a study regarding hypnosis and its effects on thyroidectomy (thyroid removal) and cervicotomy (incision into the cervix of the uterus) in place of general anesthesia (complete sedation).

The reported results of the study were: “All surgeons reported better operating conditions for cervicotomy using hypnosis. All patients having hypnosis reported a very pleasant experience and had significantly less postoperative pain while analgesic use was significantly reduced in this group.”

Many other studies have shown similar positive effects when hypnosis is used in place of anesthesia.

Many years ago, my dentist told me that I had too many teeth for the size of my jaw. As a result, the dentist extracted a perfectly good tooth from my mouth and I decided to use self-hypnosis, instead of novocaine freezing. At the time, I experienced no discomfort and I was unaware of exactly when the tooth was actually pulled. After the dentist showed me my tooth on the dish, I recalled that I had experienced a slight tingle a moment earlier, but that was all.

My method was simply to stare at the bright light above my head; allow my eyelids to feel heavy and close; imagine that my right hand was numb like wood, leather, wax, like ice was applied; tell my right hand that it was getting light with a red helium balloon attached to the wrist; that the hand would float up to brush my jaw, and my jaw would become cold and numb as the numbness transferred from my hand to my jaw.

I increased the voltage of the subconscious command (instruction/direction/suggestion) by focusing upon remembering in detail what a cold snowball felt like in my hand; what it was like to inject my hand into ice water; what it was like when my hand “went numb, asleep”; what it was like when I had novocaine in my jaw on a past visit to the dentist. Such visual imagery has much more mind power than simply affirming or mentally saying “my hand is numb.”

This is true because the subconscious mind responds better to imagery than to words, unless the words already have a strong emotionally conditioned feeling that is attached to them. In that case, there is an automatic stimulus – response connection such that when the word is said to someone, that person automatically feels emotion, or a change in their thoughts, feelings or behaviour. Such changes are easily possible when the subconscious mind is willingly focused powerfully on the voice of the hypnotist, with their conscious critical mind put aside for a while. It is at that time that the subconscious mind readily accepts the hypnotist’s instructions. The guards (conscious mind) have left the gate open, gone for a walk and now at last, healthy, effortless changes are possible.

I believe I can hypnotize almost anyone, if they want to be hypnotized, and if they pay attention to my instructions. The instructions are so simple that a child can follow them. Some people can be hypnotized in seconds, while others need to be trained in the skill, or conditioned for hypnosis. The first step is to eliminate any irrational fears or misconceptions so the client feels comfortable with hypnosis. The second step is to help the client to trust the hypnotist as someone who is there to help them in one way or another to have a better life, to find a lost object that has been misplaced, to reduce pain, to be more successful in sports, or a thousand other applications.

The client has to understand that he or she gains control and does not lose control with hypnosis, to understand that no one stays in hypnosis, or “gets stuck” in hypnosis, and that they will not be revealing personal information.

So, can a hypnotist quickly identify people who have a natural talent to be hypnotized easily and rapidly, or those who have been previously hypnotized. In many cases, the answer is yes. The ability to be hypnotized fast requires people who want to be hypnotized and who have a desire and ability to follow simple instructions; who are able to focus and pay attention to something such as a flickering candle flame, a hypnotic spiral, a swinging watch, or simply the hypnotist’s voice.

Some hypnotists claim that East Indians; Iranian women; Asians (more so than Europeans) are easier to hypnotize. I always found that French people in Canada were easier to hypnotize than others. When I presented entertainment hypnosis in the 1960’s and 1970’s, I noticed French people were more emotional, more enthusiastic, and more involved in the hypnosis and the show. Audience members would sit on the edge of their seats, fascinated with the mystery and humor in the show. Country people seemed less cynical and less analytical than city people, and often more relaxed as well.

Sometimes a hypnotist will place his hands on a client’s shoulders and move him back and forth, to determine the degree of relaxation. The hypnotist may shake the client’s hand to find out if the hand is warm, and if the arm is loose and relaxed. Facial muscles will often show greater relaxation as the person is going into hypnosis.

People interested in spiritual and New Age areas such as yoga, meditation, massage, Reiki, psychic phenomena, past life regression, are employed in monotonous work, daydream frequently, are creative with a good imagination such as musicians, artists and writers usually have a natural ability for hypnosis.

Some hypnotists claim that the military are more easily hypnotized because they are used to following instructions. People who have used chemically altering drugs in the past tend to be responsive due to their experience with altered mental states. Some alcohol relaxes to speed up hypnosis, but too much prevents paying attention to following instructions. When I was about 13, I had trouble hypnotizing a school friend. After he had one beer, he became hypnotized very rapidly.

If someone has been hypnotized before, they are more likely to be hypnotized easily and quickly again. If someone shows large pupils, it may indicate that they like you, are interested in the activity and thus able to focus attention very well. When a horrific accident or incident is described, does the person’s imagination kick in causing their face to grimace? Do they become emotionally involved in a movie in a theatre or duck when they see a knife thrown on the movie screen, or do they shed some tears in a sad scene? This shows a vivid imagination, which is helpful to be hypnotized in order to utilize hypnosis for the person’s benefit. People who are eager to be hypnotized are more suited to hypnosis than people who do not wish to be hypnotized.

People who sit close to a hypnotist in an audience, especially the front row, smile, are engaged with the speaker, laugh with the speaker, vocalize, (they are not bored); have a pen in their mouth; or nod after hearing “a lot of people love being hypnotized, it feels so good, they want to do it again and again” are showing strong receptivity for hypnosis. The more signals shown with such positive responses, the easier and faster they will go into hypnosis.

On the other hand, for people whose attention is easily diverted away from the voice of the hypnotist, who do not focus on what the hypnotist is doing, who may sit with arms crossed (may be disagreeing with the idea of hypnosis), they are likely to take more time, or need a specialized method to be hypnotized. For people who find too many “monkeys in their mind with constant mind wandering”, a faster confusion rapid hypnosis method would likely prove more suitable. A client may be told to take a long, slow, deep breath, yet he may take a short, fast, shallow breath. The client may have to learn to pay attention and to follow instructions.

In summary, people are generally very easy to hypnotize if the misconceptions are gone, there is a feeling of trust, they follow simple instructions, are willing to focus attention, willing to learn relax and melt away tensions, and willing to learn how to effectively use their imagination, they will be hypnotized easily, rapidly and deeply. As a result, whatever the client wants to accomplish, he will do it better with maximum success.

Tips on How to Control Your Weight

  • There are only two ways to lose weight: fewer calories / more exercise.
  • Begin your day with exercise before breakfast and burn up the most calories with the least effort.
  • Eat a hearty breakfast of varied foods.  It will give you energy for the day and you can burn it off throughout the day.
  • Eat from a varied selection of food at lunch and dinner and feel full with less food.
  • Regularly review a card with your personal reasons to be trim, slim.
  • Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily, unless you have a medical problem preventing this as part of your program.
  • Review this program frequently for new ideas and reinforcement.
  • Be very careful what you think about.  You will probably get it.
  • Learn what foods are high, medium and low calorie.  Eat mostly low and medium calorie foods.  For a balanced nutritious food management program, include variety, especially fruits and vegetables.
  • There are 3,500 calories to the pound. Examples: 1 donut daily for a year adds 16 pounds of fat; a small  piece of apple pie with no ice-cream daily for a year adds 43 pounds of fat. Little things do count. Develop a dislike for greasy, oily, fatty and sweet foods.
  • Be careful how you cook foods, avoiding grease, high calorie oils.
  • Taste a little and know what the rest tastes like.
  • Enjoy the natural taste of potatoes, bread, vegetables, salads, etc. without butter, gravy, sour cream, salad dressings, oils, etc.  You will get used to the new taste.
  • Decide ahead! “I’ll be more relaxed; full with less; in control.”
  • “Your life is a direct mirror of the thoughts and experiences stored in your subconscious.  Be careful. Control the door to your subconscious and conscious mind.”
  • Dissolve false and phantom mental barriers to weight loss.
  • Be ready for positive ripples – changes in your eating habits will bring positive changes to many other areas in your life.
  • Hunger may be interpreted as a good sign, the fat saying “good-bye”.
  • Hunger may only be thirst, drink water first.
  • If you lose only 1 pound a week, that’s over 50 pounds in a year.  Be patient.
  • To control the urge to eat, have carrots, cauliflower, celery, etc. cut in fridge and ready to eat; do deep breathing, and moderate exercises such as walking, swimming, etc.
  • Alcohol has no nutritive value, but high calorie content.
  • Nobody forces food into your mouth. You have control.
  • Think thin, trim, slim, lean, fit, firm, slender, shapely, great body.
  • Omit adding sugar, salt, butter, syrup, jam, sour cream, gravy, salad dressings, chocolate bars, potato chips, french fries, chicken skins, soft drinks. If you taste a little, know what the rest tastes like and stop right there. If you have children, teach them good eating habits. You want them to have easy access to jobs, dates, clothes, good health.
  • Leave some food on the plate and lose weight. Occasional miseating is OK.
  • It is a sign of self-respect to treat your body and your mind well.
  • Eat to live. Do not live to eat. Develop other interests – no need to fight it.
  • Willpower strengthens with use. Set your weight goal. Be victorious!  Hypnosis changes attitudes!
  • To control weight, use my NEW hypnotic weight loss recordings, and read “Fit And Firm Forever”.  The CDs and book are available here:  http://www.vanceromane.com/products.html

STRESS CONTROL IS THE KEY

It is a lot easier to say “no” when you are relaxed. To become more conscious and aware of the powerful effects of your self-relaxation sessions, just do a before and after relaxation rating test. Zero can be total relaxation and ten can be extreme tension. Rate yourself before and after your hypnosis session, and notice the benefits. Learn to be relaxed alone, or with others.

I can help you to control your own stress with my Stress Control four CD set.  A related stress management CD is the Overcome Panic and Anxiety CD.  You can order any of my recordings, books and health items by calling 1-800-665-4656, or you can save the shipping charges by ordering online here.

Headaches can be caused by stress, anxiety, poor diet, lack of sleep, lack of exercise, medications, food sensitivity, caffeine, overwork, tension, allergies, etc. If you have a lot of headaches, it is important to talk to your doctor to make sure that the headache is not a symptom of something else. Using hypnosis to eliminate a headache has no side effects, and none of the dangers of stomach upset, heart attack, or stroke often associated with pain killers.

Make sure you are taking good care of yourself. Eat right, get plenty of exercise, drink lots of water and get plenty of rest. Stress, anxiety and tension should be avoided, but this is not always possible. You can use hypnosis to help control stress, anxiety and tension. By just being hypnotized, headaches often simply disappear due to the deep relaxation.

Negative thoughts make you more susceptible to headaches and other problems. So, staying positive and happy will certainly help. Be around people who are upbeat and happy. Get out and do things with people. Go for a walk, see a movie, go to the mall or go out for dinner with friends. These will all help you be, and stay, positive.

Never say to yourself, “He gives me a headache”. You could be unwittingly causing a headache by negative self-hypnosis.

There are many hypnosis techniques that can be used to cure a headache. You can close your eyes and put yourself into a light daydream state and imagine the headache is drifting and floating away, getting smaller and smaller, until it is gone.

Here is another technique that I have used to help many people get rid of headaches (and other discomforts). You can try it yourself next time you have a headache. Sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes and relax. Take three deep breathes slowly, in and out. With your index finger of one hand actually draw a picture in mid-air of the pain. You want to draw the perimeter, the outside border of the headache. Make the “drawing” as exact as possible. Draw every nook and cranny. The picture should be done very slowly and it should be very large (about 2 ½ feet high). You might have someone watch you to tell you to slow down or to make it bigger. If your headache is not completely gone, repeat the method.

You will be surprised how often this works. If you need more help with stress, tension, anxiety and stopping negative thoughts, many hypnosis CDs are available here.

In the early 1960’s, my friends and I went to see the hypnotist Reveen, when he was beginning his concert tours in Canada.  This was about 50 years ago at the Winnipeg Arena which had 4400 seats.  We would go up on the stage to participate in the hypnosis show.  Reveen had filled every seat for eight shows in seven days.  When the show ended, I had been on stage for about three hours performing all the acts that he instructed me to follow.  I felt that I had remembered everything I had done, and as a young boy, just beginning my study of hypnotism, I still felt that I had not been hypnotized.

The next day I went back to my high school and I told my teacher that I had been on the stage for three hours.  I further told him that I knew exactly what I was doing on the stage, and I did not think I was hypnotized at all.  The teacher then said to me: “So you were on the stage for three hours, you did everything Reveen told you to do, and you don’t think you were hypnotized.  Then why did you do everything he told you to do?”  I said “I felt like it.”

In fact, that is how hypnotism works.  You feel like following the instructions of the hypnotist. Most people do not know if they are hypnotized.  At every live seminar I do, I ask the audience to raise their hands if they know anyone who lost weight or stopped smoking after my seminars, yet they thought they were not hypnotized at all.  Hands go up every night!

So, it is extremely common for people to think they were not hypnotized, when in fact they were hypnotized.  People often need convincers, or what professionals call “trance ratification” to help them to believe and know that they were hypnotized.  Sometimes this can be as simple as a hypnotist proving to the client that his arm has become stiff upon instruction, or his hands have locked together, or to look at the clock and notice that the time in hypnosis was actually much longer than the client believed.  Generally time passes quickly in hypnosis.  It feels good, and you let yourself become “lost” in the “imaginary dreams” presented by the hypnotist.

Other hypnotists sometime stick sterilized needles into the skin of the client to prove that they feel nothing at the instruction of the hypnotist.  If someone strongly believes that they have not been hypnotized, even though they have been hypnotized, their doubts and negative thinking can sometimes cause them to talk themselves out of the benefits of their sessions.  Such pessimistic thinking can cause people to hypnotize themselves to go back to smoking, to go back to overeating, or whatever else they overcame.

The more times someone is hypnotized, the more clearly they understand that they really have been hypnotized.  Being hypnotized is a skill and the more someone practices this skill, the better their ability.  I always recommend either repeat hypnosis sessions for reinforcement, or using my recordings for reinforcement.

Perhaps the most common misconception about hypnosis is that people believe they need to see me live and in person.  Thousands of people all over the world have been helped with my hypnosis recordings alone in areas such as stopping smoking, weight loss, stuttering, stress control, self-esteem building and many, many other areas.

If you have the opportunity to come to a live seminar and then use the recordings after the seminar, that is the best approach.  However, many people cannot attend my seminars because of distance or time pressures.  If you feel you can use hypnosis, take action and use my hypnosis recordings to get started to a brand new life right away.  So many clients say to me, “I wish I had done this years ago”.

It is important to understand that you will not be in an ordinary sleep. You will not be unconscious.  Instead, you are super aware. Your attention is powerfully focused upon Romane’s voice. Do not try hard to be hypnotized. Instead treat the experience as play. Do not care if you are hypnotized, for you probably won’t know anyway, unless you have been hypnotized several times.

Do not waste your mental energy and concentration thinking over and over: “Is it working. I hope it is working. When will it work? This is my last resort. It better work.” Such fear of failure divides concentration. You attract what you think about. The best attitude is “who cares if I am hypnotized. I am just going to follow the instructions and enjoy the experience. This will work great!”  Simply assume you are hypnotized.

Hypnosis is a normal, natural state similar to being totally focused on a good book, or a good movie in a theatre. Imagine that there is an empty box in the top of your head, and Romane is going to fill that box with over 100 very positive hypnotic instructions to create the belief in your mind that you are already a non smoker, relaxed without tobacco.

When your eyes are closed, your attention is more focused upon Romane’s voice. Some people like to put something over their eyes, such as a blindfold or eye shades. If using hypnotic recordings, headphones will again further focus your attention. Also, chewing gum is a distraction. Having a comfortable bed, chair or couch helps. Loosen tight clothing.

As you hear Romane’s voice, imagine that your mind is a vacuum cleaner sucking up every hypnotic instruction; a tunnel between your mind and Romane’s words filling up the box in the top of your head.

You can increase the power of the hypnotic instructions by turning off your analyzing, turning off your critical thinking mind, and accepting everything that is being told to you while your attention is focused upon his voice. Forget about other people in the audience. Think of the session as between you and Romane alone.

You can further increase the emotional voltage of the hypnotic instructions by imagining what Romane is saying in detail. Imagine what you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel on your skin, and in your mind. Imagine you are an actor or actress in Hollywood. For example, if you are imagining yourself in situations as a non smoker, you can add color, make it vivid, bright, sharp, add details, bring it in close to you, give it movement, see it from the right, left, front, back, make it 3D. Add imaginary sounds such as compliments of others, make them clear, constant and loud such as cheering. Make it stereo.

In short, the key is to focus your attention in an uncritical, open, accepting way. Imagine what is being said to you as if it is already true, for we become what we think the most about. Many people say over and over to themselves: “I can’t quit smoking”. In this case, the person needs to be DEHYPNOTIZED, or UNHYPNOTIZED. They have already hypnotized themselves by repetition of the self-suggestion.

If your life is a mess, your mind is mess. You need to change your mind, your mouth, your thoughts and your words.

You can also mentally repeat hypnotic instructions as Romane says them to you, while imagining as if they are true already.

Repetition of hypnotic instructions makes them stronger. If using hypnosis recordings, you should have one session, once a day, until you are absolutely confident you will never smoke again. With some people hypnosis has fast results, and with others (especially those who have excessive life stress), permanent success may require more repetitions of the hypnotic instructions. Persistence is the key to all success.

An e-cigarette is a battery-powered devise which is a substitute for tobacco smoking.  It usually uses a heating element that vaporizes a liquid solution.  Some solutions contain a mixture of nicotine and flavour, while others release a flavored vapor without nicotine.  If they release nicotine, they carry a risk of developing a nicotine addiction.

Apparently, some of these devices have shown to contain cancer causing agents, similar to nicotine gum and inhalers, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  I have heard that some of the most risky e-cigarettes are coming from China.

Lowell Dale, M.D. PhD., associate professor at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine says that when the FDA analyzed samples of two popular brands of these e-cigarettes, they found variable amounts of nicotine and traces of toxic chemicals, including carcinogens. This prompted the FDA to issue a warning about potential health risks.

A study from France’s National Consumers Institute concluded that e-cigarettes are “potentially carcinogenic” because some brands contain formaldehyde (embalms dead bodies) that approaches those of conventional cigarettes.  Doctor Matthew Stanbrook says; “we should not assume they are safe, just because they appear to be less harmful than conventional cigarettes”.

Health Canada continues to advise Canadians not to use e-cigarettes as they might pose a health risk.

E-cigarettes duplicate the ritual and process of holding a cigarette.  You blow out a vapor that looks like tobacco smoke.  The problem with this is that you are still hooked on a device that is unnecessary to life, but you keep using it with all the situations and emotions that caused you to smoke regular cigarettes in the past.  The best solution is to eliminate this gimmick which could be compared to an infant pacifier.

With my program, where I have helped more Canadians to stop smoking than anyone else in the world, you are at last free of the habit, and proud to be free. I teach all the best methods of stopping smoking, with and without hypnosis.  The methods are so simple a child could follow the instructions.  My technique is based upon the multiple method approach.  A report by the top physician in the United States, the US Surgeon General, said that the multiple method approach is the best approach for anyone wanting to stop smoking.  This conclusion is based on a study of over 700 stop smoking programs.

My approach helps tremendously to deal with stress management, as stress is the #1 reason people go back to smoking.  The #2 reason is alcohol.  The #3 reason is cockiness, “I’ll have just one. One won’t hurt!”  My program deals with all of these.  There is no need to wait for my visit to your city.  You could seriously further compromise your health and spend thousands of dollars on tobacco before I arrive in your city.  The hypnosis recordings work just as well as the live seminar.

First let me explain the difference between the CDs and the DVDs.

The DVDs are a recording of a live seminar. Some people like to feel they are attending a live seminar and prefer to be able to “see” the hypnotist. There are two hypnosis sessions: a hypnosis conditioning session and a hypnosis session to stop smoking permanently. During the hypnosis, a spinning spiral will come on your TV or computer screen. Simply watch the spinning spiral until you feel like closing your eyes and then just listen to the rest of the hypnosis session. Most people find that the spinning spiral helps them to go into hypnosis faster and deeper.

The CDs have been recorded in a studio and are crystal clear with no background noise, such as coughing, etc. There are more hypnosis sessions on the CDs than there are on the DVDs. Some are longer sessions and some are shorter sessions, for variety. You have the option to choose between a short or long session.  Also, the four hypnosis sessions are all different, in order to meet the needs of different types of people.

Are CDs or DVDs more effective?  The choice is a personal choice. You should choose whichever format you are most likely to use more frequently. Think about where you would be using the recordings and what machine you have available.

Whichever set you decide to use, I recommend that you play them all through once, then pick your favorite hypnosis session and play it once a day, preferably just before sleep, for about 15 days. Then you can taper off and only use the recordings if you feel you need them.

What if you slip and go back to smoking?  This is unlikely if you follow the instructions on the recordings.  The instructions are so simple that a child could follow them.  However, if you do go back to smoking, all you have to do is start playing the recordings again.  Please feel free to contact us if you need support or have any questions.

Are you smoking or overweight and saying to yourself, “I will wait for a live seminar, rather than use recordings”.  Many people falsely believe that a live seminar is more effective than recordings.  In fact, hypnosis recordings are highly effective to permanently overcome a challenge that you may have.

We visit some cities several times a year, and others perhaps only once every several years.  My advice is to order hypnosis recordings right now, get rid of your problem as soon as possible and enjoy a brand new life.  Hypnosis works instantly for many people.  However, for permanent changes, some people need to reinforce the hypnosis by playing a hypnosis session several times.

If someone has excessive stress in their life, even more playing of the recordings may be required.  In short, stop procrastinating and do something now.  Turn your wishbone into backbone.  Someone once said, “If you wait until all the lights are green you will never go anywhere”.  A man in Cold Lake, Alberta once told me: “I quit drinking 15 years ago, but my two drinking buddies never joined me.  They kept drinking, and now they are both dead.”
